Enemy Types

Staff-Wielding Robot

Low
Ground Enemy

Sluggish robots that swing staffs at close range. Predictable attack patterns make them good practice for timing dodges.

Pattern:

Slow wind-up, horizontal staff swing, recovery pause

Strategy:

Maintain distance and attack after their swing animation completes. Easy to avoid with aerial mobility.

Weakness:

Slow attack speed, vulnerable after missing

Flying Projectile Robot

Medium
Aerial Enemy

Airborne robots that fire projectiles from a distance. Often positioned in hard-to-reach locations to create crossfire situations.

Pattern:

Hovers at distance, fires 1-3 projectiles, repositions

Strategy:

Use your grappling hook to close distance quickly or counter with orb projectiles. Priority target in group fights.

Weakness:

Fragile when approached, predictable flight patterns

Mosquito Diver

Medium
Aerial Enemy

Mosquito-like enemies that perform aggressive divebomb attacks. Fast and erratic movement patterns make them dangerous.

Pattern:

Circles above, commits to diving attack, recovery phase

Strategy:

Time your dodges carefully and punish during their recovery phase after diving. Use shield if timing is difficult.

Weakness:

Long recovery after dive, vulnerable while committed to attack

Heavy Bruiser

High
Ground Enemy

Large, heavily armored robots with powerful melee attacks. Can take significant damage and deal heavy hits.

Pattern:

Ground pound, charging attack, area sweep

Strategy:

Stay airborne to avoid ground attacks. Attack from range when possible. Save burst damage for when they're vulnerable.

Weakness:

Slow movement, telegraphed attacks

Stationary Turret

Medium
Environmental Hazard

Fixed turrets that fire rapid projectiles in set patterns. Cannot be destroyed but can be avoided or temporarily disabled.

Pattern:

Rotates and fires in sweeping patterns or tracking shots

Strategy:

Learn the firing pattern and dash through gaps. Some can be temporarily disabled with specific abilities.

Weakness:

Fixed position, predictable patterns

Swarm Unit

Low individually, High in groups
Swarm Enemy

Small, fast-moving robots that attack in groups. Individually weak but dangerous in numbers.

Pattern:

Surrounds player, coordinated rushes

Strategy:

Use area attacks and aerial mobility to avoid being surrounded. Take them out quickly before they overwhelm you.

Weakness:

Very low health, easily defeated one-on-one

General Boss Tips

Preparation is Key

Always crystallize nacre before boss attempts. Equip appropriate modifiers for the fight style.

Learn Before You Fight

Spend your first attempt studying attack patterns rather than trying to win immediately.

Upgrade Your Abilities

Make sure you've unlocked key movement abilities before attempting optional bosses.

Build Flexibility

Don't be afraid to swap modifiers between attempts. Different builds work better for different bosses.
